Astrophotography Gallery - Wide Field
I've revamped this gallery, as there's the images can be quite be quite big for narrow band users.
- Swirling Polaris. Taken on 12th October 2002 at Penistone Hill. A twenty minute Exposure with a 30mm Lens and 200 ISO film.
- Orion Static mount Taken on 28th December 2002. A 90 second exposure of Orion on 200ASA film, shows why a clock drive is needed.
- Plough Taken in early June. This 10 minute shot on Polaris is the first photo taken piggy backed on my LX90 in Equatorial mode.
- Orion Piggy Backed Taken in December, this 10 minute piggy backed shot was heavily light polluted. I used the histogram adjustment tool to remove the light pollution and bring out the contrast a little better. When compared to the static mount shot above, you can clearly see the difference in detail which can be achieved.
