Astrophotography Gallery - Lunar


This page is devoted to the moon. Whilst being extremly beautiful, they're not much of a challange to take. As the moon is so bright, you can use normal daytime photographic techniques to get your picture.

Taken on 22nd June 2002. this is my first attempt at shooting the moon.
Taken on 27nd June 2002. Second attempt at the moon, A little overexposed, but at least it's all in the frame. Mind you, the craters on the right edge came out well.
Taken on 18th October 2002. Another moon attempt, This time Parafocal without a bracket.

Taken on 18th August 2003. This composite of the last quarter moon was taken using a Logitech Quickcam Pro. I recorded an AVI file and panned over the entire surface of the moon, then took frames from the file and stiched them together using Paint Shop Pro.
